Dressing Like The Stars: Emmy Awards 2017

The big winner this year at the 2017 Emmys was fashion. The red carpet was filled with so many beautiful dresses, you know that every stylist was not only on their A-Game, but their clients actually listened. Everyone was so fabulous that I'm not sure I even saw one thing that could have inspired any of the following thoughts—

What were there thinking?

Were they even thinking?

Do they have a brain?

WTF is wrong with this person?

Do they not own a mirror?

Someone call an ambulance!

Nope, it was a night for spectacular fashion, funny jokes and minimal regrets. Here are some of my favorite looks and a few suggestions on how to steal the best styles without getting arrested by the fashion police. (Too much?)

Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman reserved her time on the red carpet in a gown from Calvin Klein By Appointment. Book your own style in either a satin and chiffon gown by After Six or this Morgan & Co lace and jersey dress. Both are from Nordstrom.

Samantha Bee

Style made a b-line for Samantha Bee in a Rubin Singer gown. Go for green in a chic long sleeved cutout dress from Cavalli or a slightly more casual frock from Misguided.

Marisa Sullivan

Marisa Sullivan rocked the red carpet in a Mac Dugal dress styled by Ali Levine. While it's hard to find a dupe, this burgundy Alfred Sung Strapless High/Low Sateen Twill Gown puts a slightly more classic spin on her look, while the Fernanda dress by Amanda Uprichard captures the fun .

Millie Bobby Brown

Millie Bobby Brown's Calvin Klein By Appointment dress did pirouettes around everyone else on the red carpet. ASOS' Mini Tulle Dress is a different spin on the same idea. If you want to be a ballerina but maybe in sneakers or boots, this  J. Crew tulle skirt  is everything!

Amanda Salas

If I had to choose my favorite look of the night, it would be Amanda Salas' one-of-a-kind red lace sheath gown. Styled by Ali Levine, this also happens to be, in my opinion, one of the best looks she's ever styled. Aijek Millie's Lace Gown gets the look pretty close, while the Marie Lace Midi Dress is a little more appropriate for an extra sexy date night.

Shailene Woodley

Shailene Woodley looked almost unrecognizable, but in a good way (obvs) at the Emmys. Her green Ralph Lauren dress had jaws dropping. Create a similar look in a green velvet mermaid gown from Jovani or basically steal it in this Aidan by Aidan Mattox Velvet V-Neck Wrap Evening Gown.
